This ring was made by Ostby & Barton. Located in Providence Rhode Island, Ostby & Barton became one of the nations largest manufacturers of jewelry and rings, and they were in business beginning in the late 1800's until the early 1900's.Interestingly, Ostby was a passenger who died on the Titanic when it sank, and his daughter, Helen, was also onboard Titanic (she survived). Between 5/16"-3/8" wide on your finger at the largest points. There is a monogram on this ring, though it is hard to determine exactly what it is... The Gold has a few small dings, dimples, nicks, scratches/scuffs, wear and imperfections in some areas. The gold has some patina, tarnish and discoloration in areas as well and could use a cleaning/touch up polish in areas (if desired). Please see images to get a closer look at this items condition.
